The Role:

Responsible for providing and maintaining all IT services and systems within the company. Responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. The role will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation of the infrastructure. Responsible for ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to company standards.

The role requires you to be proficient in Windows Server 2008 and Exchange 2010 system administration.  Your duties involve data storage administration (experience of EqualLogic would be useful) and also Network administration on managing site to site & remote user VPN.  Alongside this you will be required to have exposure to Linux and web hosting knowledge would be beneficial.

Duties and Responsibilities:


·         Responsible for the overall design and implementation of IT/Business Systems within the company

·         Responsible for the control of all IT systems during crisis situations

·         Provide continuous improvement of documentation/best practice adoption within IS/IT

·         Responsible for the management of software licensing

·         Responsible for the management of communication services (email, phones & internet connectivity)

·         Responsible for the overall management of the companies HPC resources

·         Responsible for ensuring the implementation of data backup/recovery procedures


·         Responsible for securing data from internal and external attack

·         Responsible for providing secure access to internal systems from outside of my clients sites


·         Develop planning and implementation of new Information Systems across the company

·         Research into future direction of new systems

·         Responsible for planning for Disaster Recovery for all client sites

·         Responsible for maintaining/updating the company IT policy

Day to day IT management:

·         Responsible for optimising the uptime and security of hardware/software/data on the Linux and Windows based systems

·         Use support for windows desktops (office 2007, 2010 and 2016 and Windows 7/10) including OS and software installations/updates

·         Troubleshooting of software and hardware (desktop)

Operations and Support:

·         Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups

·         Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions

·         Configuring/monitoring firewalls

·         Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully protected

·         Create, change, and delete user accounts per request

·         Provide/delegate support per request from all users.  Investigate and troubleshoot issues

·         Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.  Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies


·         Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary

·         Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures

·         Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning

·         Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.  Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required

·         Maintain data centre environmental and monitoring equipment

Main Purpose:

The Software (Front End) Developer will build cutting-edge data analysis user interfaces and be adept at picking up new technologies with ease.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Define and develop front-end requirements for various desktop products, with a view to commercialization

·         Maintain and support existing products

·         Adhere to (or help improve) departmental processes re. source code control, issue/bug-tracking, testing, documentation, releasing, etc.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

 ·         Good all-round programming experience in modern C++ with STL

·         At least 2 years’ experience as a GUI developer on Windows (Visual Studio)

·         Applicable degree (e.g. software engineering, physics, maths, engineering, etc)

·         Strong scientific-based A level grades (e.g. computer science, physics, maths, etc)

·         A clear passion for Application User Experience

·         Logical thinking and problem-solving ability with exceptional attention to detail

·         Demonstrable understanding of the software life cycle

·         Exposure to a variety of technologies and languages

·         Highly self-motivated and well organised

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:

 ·         Exposure to scientific/maths packages, e.g. Matlab, Dymola

·         Good understanding of mathematical modelling and/or vehicle mechanics

We are looking for a Project Manager to work within our Operations department. They will be responsible for managing the delivery of Company projects through the complete product lifecycle, on time and to agreed budget.

The successful candidate will need to be confident and competent in all aspects of their job and be capable of a high standard of work, self motivated, flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude and able to meet tight deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with the key stakeholders (internal & external), responsible for forming project teams as required
  • Working closely with the programme’s Chief Engineer throughout, you will be responsible for gathering the technical requirements for each project, considering & reporting the impact on project targets and deliverables
  • Responsible for clearly defining the project’s targets/deliverables and co-ordination of tasks (resources and capacity) derived from each project specification
  • Working with Department Heads & Managers to identify project resource and capacity exceptions & find resolutions
  • Responsible for the on time, on budget delivery of projects
  • Maintain flow of communication of project progress to client(s) and to relevant departments, including flow of communication into production
  • Responsible for the chairing of project management meetings & reporting the outcomes

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven project management experience within an engineering project/company
  • Good level of technical and engineering understanding – Motorsport &/or Aerospace experience is preferable
  • Challenges data and current ways of thinking
  • Experience of Project Management & Reporting Systems & Project Planning Tools, MS Project
